I havent had any time to write on my blog because we have been so busy. We just finished building and delivering two Full Flow Rain Saver Systems for the Bolton Primary School in West Linn, Oregon and I just heard that another school has put in an order for a rainbarrel kit.
We are going to have to start putting people on a waiting list before to long. I dont like to do that but there is nothing else we can do. People dont realize that these systems take about a week to build, and that includes a few days for drying time for the stains and sealers.
After I finish the three orders I'm working on now, I have to put together a couple of Rain containers and a Garden Irrigation System. The order is for two 330 gal. Rain Containers which is the largest containers we have. The Garden Irrigation System was created for the purpose of watering your vegetable garden as it has a drip irrigation kit that has over 100 emitters, working on about 2 psi which will water a 100 sq. ft. garden. As you can see, most of the labor is in building the stand. There is a weep/air hole tube in the back that controls the air and water pressure. It would be a very good idea to put a low flow battery timer on this system because of
the amount of emitters that it has. It would be very easy to drain this system in a couple of hours if someone forgot to turn it off in a reasonable amount of time. When using the timer with this system, it could last for weeks or even months at a time.
I just shipped my first Bird Barrel Bungalow (bird house) to San Diego, California! If we only had more time to build these.....
There is a fair comming up, which we will be at. It's the Mothers Day Plant and Garden Fair in Camas, Washington on the 8th of May. Hope to see you there.
